Gulfport Police identify suspects in Orange Grove shooting

Gulfport Police have identified suspects involved in a shooting on Monday eventing at a shopping center in Orange Grove.
Police say 20-year-old Ketren Machi Grant is wanted on a charge of aggravated assault. He is described as about 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Police also are looking for 21-year-old Jajai Nutal on a charge of accessory after the fact. She is described as 5-foot-1 and 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
The investigation began when police received a call at 5:51 p.m. Monday about a shooting in the 11300 block of Highway 49 in the parking lot of the closed Winn Dixie and near the Citi Trends store.
On scene, police found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds. He was airlifted to an out-of-state hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Investigators determined that the victim and Grant got into an argument outside a business. During the argument, Grant pulled a firearm and shot the victim multiple times, police said. Grant and Nutall then fled.
