$21 million earmarked for passenger rail on the Coast

Senator Wicker’s office announcing $21 million has been set aside by the Federal Railroad Administration to help offset operating costs ahead of Amtrak’s return to the Coast.

As for when service will return to South Mississippi, transportation leaders still say it’s on track to be early this year.
