12/16 Ryan’s “Humid December” Monday Morning Forecast
We're starting off this mid-December week on the warm and humid side, but cooler, drier days will return just in time for the holidays.
It’s not going to feel much like “December” this week, thanks to a pattern leading to warmer, more humid weather for most of the week. That lead to a low near 62 this morning, and at least a little fog out there across South Mississippi. I expect we’ll see more in the mornings ahead, particularly Wednesday, though seeing dense fog as early as tomorrow isn’t out of the question. This afternoon will be considerably warmer than it should be as well, highs climbing into the low-to-mid 70s across the area with Gulfport maxing out near 72. That’s largely where we’ll stay for the next few days, but we’ll start seeing drier, cooler, and more sunny weather by the end of the week.
