Local sheriff’s departments participate in Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign

In the spirit of Giving Tuesday, local sheriff departments were out having friendly competition and raising funds for their kettles.

Mississippi Gulf Coast sheriff’s departments are competing to raise funds for the Salvation Army to support vital programs year-round.

Harrison County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Officer Craig Necaise said, “We are definitely beating the shift before us. We are doing hour shifts so we are being competitive within the department to call people you know to get them out here to raise some money.”
