11/29 Ryan’s “Cooling Quickly” Friday Morning Forecast

A front moved through yesterday, and things are cooling quickly as we head into the weekend.

Yesterday’s front didn’t bring much rain, but things are cooling quickly as we finish off the week and head into the weekend. In fact, we have I believe our first Freeze Warnings since winter early this year for tonight/tomorrow morning in George and Stone Counties.  We’ll likely see some frostiness along the coast as well, so it’s a night you’ll definitely want to cover/protect any sensitive plants. Expect lows in the mid 30s in the Gulfport area, with afternoon highs lingering in the mid to upper 50s over the weekend. We’ll see many below average highs and lows this week, with only next Thursday climbing above the 47/67 degree mark ahead of our next big cool-down.

Tropics

This will be the last tropical update of the season, as it’ll end over the weekend.
