Gulfport Police searching for suspect in double-homicide case

Gulfport Police are searching for a suspect in a double homicide.

51-year-old Christopher Antoine Davis has been identified as the suspect. He is about 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds with salt-and-pepper hair, a beard and brown eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Police responded to a report of a shooting on Tuesday night about 7:49 p.m. in the 550 block of Graves Avenue.

When they arrived, officers found two victims in the residence. Both were lying on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds.

Investigators believe Davis entered the home armed and shot the weapon multiple times, killing the victims before fleeing.

The victims have been identified, but their names are being withheld pending notification of their families by the Harrison County Coroner’s Office.
