Woolmarket teacher surprised after winning radio contest

A teacher at Woolmarket Elementary entered a radio contest and won $500 to purchase analog watches for her students to learn how to tell time.

What Mrs. Allison Breland didn’t know was that she was also getting a grand prize!

Mrs. Breland thought that the story was just going to be about her students getting new watches.

She was quickly surprised and excited to find out that folks from the Kidd Kraddick Show were at Woolmarket Elementary to stop by and give her a prize!

They surprised Mrs. Breland as the winner of the Classroom Giveback Getaway. Ten teachers were put into the pool around the country. She received the money to buy watches for her students.

Mrs. Breland was also a lucky draw to win a vacation at the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida.
