09/16 Ryan’s “Cloudy Start” Monday Morning Forecast
We're off to a grey start with scattered showers later today ahead of a dry and sunny end to the week.
Things get off to a cloudy start this week as the “ghost of Francine” returns from the north, bringing clouds and scattered showers later this afternoon.
We’ll likely see a few thunderstorms mixed in there as well, but at this point it isn’t looking like anything too serious and severe weather is not expected. As always though, please remain “weather aware” should you hear any rumbles of thunder in your area in case any overachieving storms try to show out. If you don’t already have a warning system like our app, it can be a handy tool in these situations, alerting you to any warnings relevant to you based on your location.
Otherwise, expect more of the same today as the cloud cover will keep us on the cooler side of our upper 80s “normal,” with highs climbing to 84 degrees along the coast with slightly higher values inland. Shower activity will peak this afternoon, then begin trending down through tomorrow afternoon ahead of some beautiful, seasonal weather. By Wednesday afternoon the cloudy skies clear noticeably and sunny skies take over for the rest of the week. It’ll heat up some with all that sun, but not expecting anything more than upper 80s right now.
