Longtime Ocean Springs alderman out

Incumbent and longtime Ward 3 Alderman Chic Cody is out after tonight’s runoff results.
Joseph Bellman Jr. beat out Cody 180-164. Since there are no Democrats running, Bellman wins the seat. Cody has been Ward 3 alderman for 24 years.
Bellman and Cody went head to head in tonight’s runoff after neither received 50 percent of the vote in May 2nd’s primary election.
