Thunderstorms Cause Power Outages in Parts of South Mississippi

Powerful thunderstorms rolled through parts of South Mississippi early Wednesday evening. Some residents of Harrison, Jackson, and Stone County lost power. According to the Mississippi Power Outage Map several homes and businesses across various parts of Southern Mississippi were without power for some time.

Mississippi power crews have been actively working to resolve any power issues arising from the storm, and as of now have restored power to a large portion of those affected.
