Gulfport Fourth of July fireworks light up night sky

Gulfport hosted its annual Fourth of July fireworks show over the Mississippi Sound on Thursday night.

Crowds gathered in multiple locations across downtown Gulfport to watch the display, which began at 8:45 p.m. and lasted just under half an hour.

It was one of many holiday festivities that took place along the Gulf Coast.

WXXV News 25 was live from the top of the Gulfport Police Station to observe the festivities.
