Suspect out on bond in theft case arrested in theft of ATV, dirt bike

Picayune Police have made an arrest in the investigation into a stolen ATV and a stolen dirt bike.
Burl Richardson, 35, was charged with two counts of grand larceny. He was taken to the Pearl River County jail. Picayune Police have filed for revocation of bond. Richardson was out on bond in a previous theft case.
Officers began investigating on Wednesday after the thefts were reported, canvassing the area of the theft and asking the community for information.
Thanks to the community, the ATV 4-wheeler was found in a wooded area off Washington Street. The canvas continued and surveillance video showed the suspect, Burl Richardson, allegedly taking the ATV and dirt bike.
Police said Richardson has prior arrests for theft and was out on bond on charges of theft of personal property and two counts of receiving stolen property.
