Gulfport duplex damaged after fire

Investigators with the Gulfport Fire Department are looking into what caused a morning fire at a duplex on Hewes Avenue.
No one was injured and authorities say the duplex appeared to be abandoned. The building at the corner of 25th ½ Street and Hewes Avenue received moderate damage from the fire.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
