Harrison County man indicted on three counts of sexual battery of a minor

A Harrison County man has been indicted on three counts of sexual battery on a minor.

District Attorney Crosby Parker said a grand jury returned an indictment on 36-year-old Christopher Stovall in March. He was arrested Friday and taken to the Harrison County jail. He is being held without bond pending a May 6 court appearance in Circuit Court.

According to the indictment, Stovall is charged with having sexual relations with a child less than 16 years old.

The alleged incidents are said to have occurred between January 2022 and February 2023.
