4/1 – Trey Tonnessen’s “Staying Warm” Monday Evening Forecast
Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen
Meteorologists have been watching upper ridging over the southeast quarter of the country this afternoon, with a trough extending from the Dakotas to the Four Corners area. High pressure centered between Bermuda and the Bahamas extended westward into the eastern Gulf of Mexico. Low pressure was centered near Kansas City with a front southwestward into west Texas. Under mostly cloudy skies, temperatures topped out in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Tomorrow the Mississippi Gulf Coast is included in a level 2 out of 5 severe risk. This was issued for the arrival of a cold front Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
As always: A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition. Be nice to each other.
