Mississippi State men’s basketball sets sights on opening NCAA Tournament matchup against Michigan State on Thursday

We are under 24 hours away from the 2024 NCAA Tournament tipping off as games are set to begin at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday morning.

One of those games will including the Mississippi State Bulldogs who are looking to stay hot during the big dance.

The MSU Bulldogs didn’t end the regular season on a high note – in fact, they lost their last three games before conference tournament play. While many saw them as a lock for the NCAA Tournament, they wanted to leave no doubt during the SEC tournament.

During tournament play the Bulldogs defeated LSU and the then No. 5 ranked Tennessee Volunteers. Now all sights are set for Thursday when MSU will take on Michigan State.
