Pearl River, Harrison Central, and Pass Christian have eyes set on baseball jamboree
Baseball is just one day away as many schools are set to begin their seasons on Saturday during jamboree play. This week we are highlighting Pass Christian, Harrison Central, and Pearl River high school.
Pearl River baseball finished 22-12 last season, with the path ending in the second round of playoffs. It was the first time in nine years Pearl River did not reach the third round of the playoffs. This year they are back for more.
Pass Christian finished their last season in first play of the 4a region 8. Led by head coach Ricky Smith, the Pirates are looking to continue the momentum that has been building for years to have a successful season.
Last, but certainly not least, Harrison Central baseball finished their year with a 10-20 record – good for third in the 6A region 8. With a lot of tough teams to play, Harrison Central is looking for a bounce back year.
