12/17 – Trey’s “Calm Breeds Cold” Sunday Night Forecast

Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen

Our weekend cold front is now well past the area, which has shifted our surface flow to the northwest. Winds were a bit on the breezy side to start Sunday, but have continued to fall throughout the end of the day. Cloud cover has also cleared the area and moved off to the east, leaving us mostly sunny; into Monday. Low temperatures tonight will dip down into the upper for most northern areas, sticking to the 40s for the Southshore. Another cold front of sorts will push through the area tomorrow, clearing the coast by the late evening. This boundary is mainly just reinforcing cooler and drier air into the area. This reinforcing air will help drop low temperatures into the low 30s for northern areas Tuesday morning.

As always: A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition. Be nice to each other.
