Until then, chief way McDowell is asking residents to use one of the following phone numbers, if they need to contact the Long Beach Police Department.
Call either 228-863-7298 or 228-863-7494.
These numbers are being used by the police for either emergencies or non-emergencies until the main line …which is 228-863-7292 is back up and running.
No word yet on just when that will be.
Still call 911 for emergencies.
