Santa Wears A Badge program extends registration in Jackson County

The 10th annual Santa Wears a Badge program is under way in Jackson County.

The program is funded by donations only and is sponsored by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department to provide Christmas gifts to children who might otherwise not have presents to open on Christmas Day.

Anyone who would like to donate or have a box placed at your business can call Connie Bosarge at 228-623-0659. Boxes will be picked up on Dec. 15 and Dec. 18th.

The deadline to apply will close on Nov. 27. The program is open to Jackson County residents who have children up to 12 years of age. You cannot be registered with another organization.
