11/16 – Jeff Vorick’s “Fog Possible Overnight” Thursday Evening Forecast
Winds relax this evening as an area of low pressure in our region fades into memory. Clouds will build back in overnight and there could be the possibility for fog if the cloud deck can get low enough. Clouds dissipate quickly with some sunlight tomorrow. However, there will be an average of mostly cloudy skies Friday.
A weak cold front will slide through the area into this weekend. Clearer skies and drier air make their way in temporarily for Saturday into Sunday. As usual with a fall pattern, things will change quickly into next week.
Winds turn southerly Sunday into Monday. This will help moisture recover ahead of next week’s strong cold front. A potent frontal system will make its way into our region for the beginning of next week. There will be thunderstorm chances Monday and Tuesday, and the possibility of strong to severe thunderstorms. Details need to be ironed out on timing and exact threats.
