2/15 – Rob’s President’s Day Forecast
As a cold front begins to move through the region…showers and t-storms will affect the area through this evening. Isolated rain has been moving into south Mississippi…with the activity poised to increase through this afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center has the area in a SLIGHT THREAT for Severe Weather. This afternoon will bring the greatest threat as energy with the main frontal boundary coupled with strong winds and Gulf moisture along with daytime heating will develop rain and thunderstorms. The boundary will quickly move to the east this evening along with clearing skies overnight. Warm temps will continue through the rest of the week…into the weekend.
