11/10 – Trey’s “Overrunning Moisture” Friday Night Forecast
Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen
The slow moving front I've been referring to all day, finally dropped into the northern Gulf earlier tonight and remains offshore into early Saturday morning. It looks like a few shortwaves are heading towards our area tomorrow, following the southwesterly flow aloft. This overrunning pattern, is why I left decently strong rain chances on your 7 Day Forecast over a string of days. That is not the only reason, even more support looks like it will come from plenty of deep layer moisture; if you were able to catch the 9PM show, we looked at precipitable water levels between 1.6-2.0 inches. As always: A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition. Be nice to each other. - Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen -
