11/7 – Trey’s “Election Night ” Tuesday Evening Forecast
Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen
The National Weather Service has outlined several focus areas Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Those are: 1. Dense fog will develop across portions of southeast LA and southern MS on Wednesday morning. Smoke from the marsh fire in New Orleans East could reduce visibility to less than 100 feet across small portions of East Orleans and St. Tammany Parish during morning commute hours. 2. Dense fog development will remain possible on Thursday morning across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi. Patchy fog across the river valleys this morning gave way to ample sunshine and values that continue to show an abundance of moisture returning to our area due to increasing southerly winds today. High pressure is now centered off to the east allowing for moist patchy fog across river valleys. As always: A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition. Be nice to each other. - Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen
