10/16 – Jeff’s “Cooler Than Average” Monday Night Forecast

A stretch of cooler than usual temperatures will continue for South Mississippi as a cooler airmass will stick around. Clear skies and light northerly winds will be in place tonight. Expect mid-to-upper 40s out the door tomorrow with the possibility of light fog in some spots.

Tomorrow will again feature sunny skies and temperatures about 10 degrees below seasonal norms. Winds will shift to a southerly direction which will begin the process of moisture recovery. Combine that with calm winds and clear skies tomorrow night, and fog will be an issue Wednesday morning.

A cold front will make its way into South Mississippi for the end of the week. There will be the potential for rain chances Thursday into Friday but no glaring signals for appreciable rainfall. A mild, but slightly warmer pattern looks to be around in the extended.
