9/27 – Chris’s “Spotty Rain” Wednesday Afternoon Forecast
This afternoon there is a cold front just to the south of our area along the Mississippi sound. This cold front will not affect temperatures that’s much as we will be a degree or two warmer today with high temperatures in the low 90s. To the northwest of us high pressure is the dominant feature. There is also still a easterly wave in the Gulf of Mexico that will give us a chance for a afternoon shower or thunderstorm. However rain chances will also continue through the overnight hour’s however decreasing a tad. As for Thursday the forecast does not change much at all as the easterly wave sticks around for a few days.
As we head into the weekend temperatures are similar however we do see a decrease in rain chances. This means plenty of sunshine for the the first couple of days of cruising the coast. Heading into the next work week temperatures actually cool to below average on Tuesday. Don’t worry folks sunshine will continue to stick around. However drought conditions will continue to worsen.
