Gulf Coast Mississippi State Alumni

Just in time for National Signing Day, the Mississippi State University Alumni Association just made a big score of its own. Alumni chapters from Hancock, Harrison and Jackson counties have officially teamed up to create the Gulf Coast chapter. Local Bulldogs celebrated with an MSU alumni party at the Chandeleur Brewing Company in Gulfport. Alums were able to hear about upcoming plans for the new chapter, all while enjoying plenty of food, drinks and MSU swag.
MSU Alumni Association Executive Director Jeff Davis said, “They came to us in the middle of last year with a plan and we really support all of our volunteer groups. We have 133,000 alums out there in the world. We’ve got over 100 alumni groups, including our chapters and clubs. So, anything we can do to support our volunteers and their efforts to support their alma mater, we really get behind it.”
There are approximately four to five thousand Mississippi State alums along the Coast.
