8/7 – Jeff’s “Excessive Heat Warning… Again” Monday Night Forecast
Winds remaining out of the south overnight will keep it very warm and extremely humid overnight. Some clouds will be present at times but expect the main issue to continue to be the oppressively hot conditions. It will be in the low-80s around daybreak to start your Tuesday.
An Excessive Heat Warning will be in place from 11 AM until 7 PM tomorrow. Temperatures in the mid-to-upper 90s will feel like the 110s for many of you. Partly cloudy skies and a 20% isolated chance of a shower or thunderstorm is possible but the heat remains the issue.
The heat wave does not look to end this week. Wednesday and Thursday will not feature much in the way of cloud cover. Temperatures will again soar during both days and the humidity will not go anywhere. Be sure to take necessary care and precautions with the heat this week as heat stress builds. Rain chances return potentially by the end of this week into the weekend.
