George County seeking ‘dangerous’ suspect in woman’s death
The George County Sheriff’s Office has issued an arrest warrant for a man who is a suspect in his wife’s death.
Sheriff Keith Havard said 32-year-old Jacob Kyle McIntosh of Lucedale is a suspect in the death of 31-year-old Kayla Brooke Crawford of Lucedale.
Crawford was reported missing by family members on March 31. She last had contact with her family in late March. Investigators and deputies have followed up on leads, including working with other agencies to talk to known associates. A ground search also was conducted to try to locate Crawford or any information that might lead to her whereabouts.
On Thursday, the Sheriff’s Office obtained an arrest warrant for McIntosh. He may be driving a black 2003 Harley Davidson Sportster that is registered to Crawford. The sheriff said McIntosh may have access to firearms and should be considered armed and dangerous.
He is described as a white male, about 5-foot-6 and 130 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He has several tattoos including “Kayla” on his chest, “Jace” on his stomach and “FTW” on his right arm.
Havard said anyone with information is asked to contact his office at 601-947-4811 or Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers at 877-787-5898 or mscoastcrimestoppers.com.
