7/24 – Jeff Vorick’s “Clearing” Monday Evening Forecast
A stationary front moving through our area ushered in a change to the feel of the air. Somewhat drier and milder air is around for the first part of the week. A few clouds this evening will clear out overnight. Temperatures are going to be on the mild side with most locations in the low-70s. Expect clear skies out the door tomorrow.
It will become hot in the afternoon again for Tuesday. However, oppressive humidity will not build back in for until at least midweek. Heat indices will be less than 100 degrees tomorrow and a few clouds can be expected. A stray shower cannot be ruled out but rainfall is mostly out of the equation.
The aforementioned front will lift back north Tuesday into Wednesday. Combining that with high pressure scooting to its east and moisture will begin to return. A stray to isolated shower can be expected Wednesday. Humidity will gradually return later this week and daily isolated thunderstorm chances will also be back.
