Over 100 trucks on display at the 8th annual Big Rig Truck Show

The trucking industry put on a big show this weekend at the annual Gulf Coast Big Rig Truck Show.

Hundreds of trucks were on display all throughout the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum and Convention Center.

It was a chance for exhibitors and truckers to talk with one another while providing guests with the opportunity to get up close and personal with big rigs.

Trophies were given away in several different trucking categories.

The event proved to be a real family affair, attracting trucking enthusiasts and those who see a real future in the industry. Volunteer Brooke McCleney said, “It’s a huge family event. We love to see the children here and get excited about seeing the big trucks.”

Guest Demariaea Jones said, “I love trucks. I really love trucks. I wanna be a truck driver one day. My daddy is a truck driver, too. That’s who I’m following behind.”

The show wrapped up Saturday night with a fan favorite convoy along Highway 90.
