Overnight Fire in Ocean Springs
An Ocean Springs mother and her two children are lucky to be alive after an overnight fire destroyed their home.
Fire Chief Jeffrey Ponson tells News 25 that crews responded to the home on Lori Drive around 2:30 this morning and a mother and her two children were inside. They were able to escape to a neighbor’s home without injury. Chief Ponson says the home is a complete loss.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. However, Chief Ponson tells News 25 the fire did start in the garage.
