6/18 – Jeff Vorick’s “Unsettled Pattern Continues” Sunday Night Forecast

Isolated shower and thunderstorm chances will be around tonight. Expect warm and humid conditions to continue overnight. Cloud coverage will be dominant. Tomorrow will be another hot and humid day with more thunderstorm chances.

An area of low pressure will drift around the region for much of the week. That will help to provide for rounds of thunderstorm chances in the area. Some thunderstorms could get on the stronger side with the potential for damaging winds, large hail, and isolated spin-ups.

One bright side to the unsettled pattern is that the heat will be more tolerable. A Heat Advisory is in effect from 11 AM to 7 PM for your Monday. But, some relief to the heat looks to come in for the middle of the week.
