Severe Weather Causes Flooding in Jackson County

Even though the severe weather threats did not hit the Gulf Coast as anticipated, many coastal counties saw flooding on the roads.
In Ocean Springs, near Front Beach, the roads were covered by rain water, making it difficult for drivers to get by. Hydroplaning is common for vehicles when traveling through puddles of water and it’s well known for causing car accidents.
This area is no stranger to flooding but the water usually dries up after a day or two of sunshine.
