MDEQ Lifts Beach Closure in Biloxi

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), through its Beach Monitoring Program, lifted a beach closure Friday that was issued for a segment of beach in Biloxi on October 15.

► The closure was issued for a segment of beach from Miramar Avenue to St.

George Avenue.

MDEQ’s monitoring of the water indicates conditions are safe for water contact.
