Wrestling is coming back to the Gulf Coast
Wrestling is coming to the Gulf Coast this Saturday.
The Gulf Coast Wrestling is aiming towards the 1985 WCW style of wrestling where people’s emotions are highly involved and they’re concerned about what happens to their favorite wrestler and not so much the outcome of the match.
The very first event will be this Saturday and there will be seven action packed matches with 14 superstars and an intermission for the kids.
Ryan Shope grew up wrestling and he wants to instill the love he has for wrestling in local kids. “These guys love what they do, and they put their bodies on the line because they love it and they want us to respond and us to love it back. We really want to focus on the kids and getting the kids to come out and love it, so for the adults out there just remember there will be kids, we’re trying to do this for the kids, so bring the kids.”
The doors will open at 6:05 on 6121 Beatline Road in Long Beach with the bell time at 7:05. Tickets can be found on Eventbrite and at the door for $10.
