St. Amant said, “It means everything since I’ve been working so hard and everything Coach Daigle said, really I just felt it in my heart, and it’s just exciting to adventure on and move on from high school and get to this new place in life.”
Coulter said, “That’s why I chose it. Their standard is high just like OS, and I just want to be in that same environment as the one I just left, so just to be able to build on top of that is where I’m trying to head to.”
Thomas said, “That’s one reason why I made my decision. I just love the program, the coaches. I just felt like it was home when I stepped on campus. This is probably the most important day of my life, so it means the absolute world to me and my family.”
Edmiston said, “All the hours of practice and hard work; blood, sweat and tears go into the one moment where you just click the sign on the email to sign your scholarship. All that hard work goes away in like one second, but I’ve got more hard work to do to be able to go from the JUCO to the DI level, and I think it’ll be a fun trip. It’s not the destination, it’s the journey.”
Ocean Springs football is coming off its deepest playoff run since 2009.
