Arrested for aggravated domestic assault in Gulfport

A Gulfport man is now behind bars following a shooting early Saturday morning.

Police say they responded to Memorial Hospital to find a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. They say Kermit Fairley shot the victim after a domestic dispute. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Fairley was arrested without incident and is charged with aggravated domestic assault. His bond is set at $350,000.
