Twenty Eight People Arrested in Gulfport
Twenty-eight people are behind bars after a recent operation carried out by the Gulfport Police this week.
Thirteen people were arrested on felony charges, all but one involving drugs. Fifteen more were arrested on misdemeanor charges.
Public Information Officer Sgt. Damon McDaniel said in a release the round up was part of Chief Leonard Papania’s continued attempts to combat the criminal subculture.
The operation was a joint effort between local, state, and federal law enforcement teams.
