Gulfport man faces child porn charges
A Gulfport man is behind bars, charged with three counts of possession of child pornography.
Sheriff Troy Peterson said 23-year-old Austin Dakota Vick is being held at the Harrison County jail under a $45,000 bond set by Judge Albert Fountain.
The Sheriff’s Office and the state Attorney General Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce investigated a report of someone uploading and possessing child pornography to personal devices.
Vick was identified during the investigation. A warrant was obtained and Vick was arrested during a traffic stop.
According to the jail docket, the crime was committed in May and Vick was arrested today.
