Residence a “total loss” after fire erupts in Biloxi early Wednesday morning
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV) — An early morning fire has destroyed a home in Biloxi.
First responders were dispatched shortly after 5:00 a.m. to a home on Travia Avenue, located just off of Irish Hill Drive.
After arriving on scene, firefighters were able to contain the blaze within 30 minutes.
There were two people and one dog inside the structure at the time of the fire, but all were able to make it out safely.
Crews are still on scene working to extinguish hot spots.
As the fire erupted, flames also spread to another home just north of the residence. Officials tell WXXV the home will be a “total loss” due to the fire.
