9/28 – Rob’s “Gloomy” Monday Morning Forecast

An upper level low pressure system parked over the upper Texas coast and southwest Louisiana will remain in place through the day. As a result…another round of rainfall will develop across the area today. Rain chances will once again be highest along the Mississippi coast. With 4-7 inches of rain impacting Jackson county yesterday…a FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for today since any additional heavy rainfall will easily result in additional flooding issues. Temperatures will remain cooler than normal today…due to the extensive cloud cover and rainfall expected. The upper level trough will keep a risk of scattered showers and thunderstorms in the picture for both Tuesday and Wednesday, with beautiful conditions heading into the weekend.
