9/28 – Jeff’s “Tranquil Pattern Settles In” Thursday Night Forecast

Skies will clear out some more towards daybreak and temperatures will be comfortable out the door to start your Friday. The front that has been in our area for the last several days will gradually dissipate as it moves out over the waters. A milder airmass will gradually be in place.

Skies will be partly cloudy on average but expect more sunshine for the end of the week. This weekend and much of the first part of next week will feature a mild, tranquil pattern thanks to high pressure over the eastern United States.

Cool mornings and warm afternoons under plenty of sunshine will be around for the next several days. Looking into the extended, high pressure gradually breaks down and there could be some signals of rain chances by the end of next week.

The tropics remain quiet in the western Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and Gulf of Mexico. There are no signals for tropical threats for the Mississippi Gulf Coast for at least the next week.
