9/14 – Brittany’s “Rain-Free” Wednesday Night Forecast
We can expect the quiet and calm conditions to continue, courtesy of high pressure to our north. Tonight and tomorrow night`s low temperatures will be below normal for most sites but just not as cool as this morning. Skies will remain mostly clear while temperatures slowly warm.
Friday through Tuesday night, the surface high shifts east of the forecast area during the day on Friday as the upper level ridge weakens. This will allow return flow to bring moisture back into the area. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible during the day on Saturday and Sunday for coastal areas, particularly southeast Louisiana. By the start of next week, high pressure at the surface and aloft build back into the area to suppress rain chances and return temperatures back to normal.
