8/7 – Rob’s “VERY HOT” Weekend Forecast

It’s a sunny start with humid conditions and warming temps. As high-pressure in the northern Gulf of Mexico continues to move west and suppress the atmosphere, temps will warm into the upper 90s to the triple digit mark Saturday-Monday. Rain chances will remain low as the HEAT INDICES rise into the DANGER ZONE…between 105-115 degrees. A weak cold front will move into the region Monday night, bringing a bit of relief from the heat and increasing rain potential.

Stay safe and hydrated, take periodic breaks and seek shade if planning on working or playing outdoors. ALSO, Protect outdoor pets by providing plenty of water, shade and cool. Bring pets indoors if possible!
