8/5 – Rob’s Wet Wednesday Morning Forecast

As a weak trough of low-pressure over the sound continues to move east…t-storms from earlier this morning will hug the coastal counties through mid-morning. Daytime heating will bring a break in the activity late morning through mid-afternoon…with redevelopment late afternoon. As high-pressure continues to strengthen and move west over the Gulf, rain chances will stay elevated through Friday. Heading into the weekend…daytime heating and compressional heat will bring VERY HOT temperatures in the mid/upper 90s, with several locations expected to touch the triple digit mark.
