8/17 – Rob’s “WET” Workweek Forecast

As a trough of low-pressure moves west across the northern Gulf of Mexico…showers with embedded thunderstorms have been moving across the area since sunrise. This activity will continue through today with the heavier activity moving NE by midday. 100% rain potential will decrease to 60% this afternoon, then 30% overnight. Deep tropical moisture will continue through the rest of the week providing cooler temps and increased rain chance. Seasonal conditions will return by early next week.
