8/9 – Jeff’s “Dangerously Hot End To Week” Wednesday Night Forecast

It will remain very warm overnight with southerly winds ushering in extremely high levels of humidity. Some clouds will be around at times but the main issue continues to be the heat. Tomorrow will feature more sunshine as compared to Wednesday. Heat alerts will again be in place for your Thursday. Expect the same in that regard for Friday.

Cloud cover will be scarce at time Thursday which means more dangerous heat builds back in. Be sure to take it easy if you are outdoors, particularly in the afternoon. Friday has the potential for a thunderstorm complex to provide for rain chances. But, rain chances are not overly high for Friday or Saturday.

The heat will continue on in the extended. But, rain chances return in more earnest by Sunday and into next week. The tropics remain very quiet with no development expected in the short term.
