8/8 – Jeff’s “Miserably Hot Pattern Continues” Tuesday Night Forecast

It will remain warm and very humid overnight as the predominantly southerly winds build back in. The pattern of dangerous heat will linger through the rest of the week. On and off clouds will be around to start your Wednesday. Any rain chances will remain fairly isolated and not provide much relief from the heat.

An Excessive Heat Warning will be in effect from 11 AM until 7 PM tomorrow, George and Stone County being the exception with a Heat Advisory beginning at 10 AM. Heat indices will soar past the 110 degree mark. Be sure to take necessary care given how intense and long this heat wave has been.

An Excessive Heat Watch is already in place for Thursday. Signals are pointing to Thursday being the hottest day due to more sunshine. Rain chances gradually return by this weekend but expect no real changes to this miserably hot pattern.
