8/11 – Jeff’s “Dangerous Heat Wave Continues” Weekend Forecast
It will not cool off to any comfortable level overnight. The humidity remains in place while skies will be mainly clear. Southerly winds will continue to be an issue overnight. Some westerly winds will build in at points this weekend which actually makes the heat even worse. It will be a miserably humid start for your Saturday.
Outside of the chance of isolated thunderstorms, heat and sunshine will dominate your Saturday. Excessive Heat Warnings are AGAIN in place from 11 AM until 7 PM for the entire area. Some changes, the temperatures not being one of them, gradually work in. Rain chances start to become appreciable Sunday.
The heat will linger through this weekend into much of next week. Rain chances Sunday through about Wednesday will be isolated to scattered at best. It will not provide much in the way of drought or heat relief.
